Message from the Principal

Welcome to the Barnesville Middle School website. It is a tremendous honor and privilege to be named Principal. I look forward to creating strong and collaborative relationships with the staff and parents of this great community. Living in the area has provided me the opportunity to witness first hand the advancements that the district has made. I feel like our school district is home, which allows me to view the position as an opportunity to lead our school to accomplish great things.
My vision for Barnesville is to continue to build a school environment where students feel safe, comfortable, challenged and engaged in class. Students and staff will respect the core values and each other. Teachers will feel supported in their teaching and inspired to try new things. Our parents and community will be involved in the school atmosphere and will work with the district and staff to support student growth. My goal is to work together to create an ideal school atmosphere and culture. Together, this is possible, and I thank you for the support and guidance that will truly benefit your child's experience at Barnesville Middle School.

The best teachers in a child’s life should be the parents. Understanding and building on the skill areas needed for your child will be key to his/her success. Thank you for your time and efforts in making this year a success.
